Rifugio Sogno di Berdzè is an Alpine Refuge in the Urtier Vally. It is a three and a half hour walk from Lillaz, two on a MTBike, without any particular difficulties. It is along the Alta Via n° 2 and the Alta Via Alpina. It is in a very beautiful, natural environment. Home-cooking which offers typical Valle d’Aosta dishes like Fontina, Lardo di Arnad, Mocetta, etc. Il Sogno di Berdzè is located in the Urtier Valley, within the most rich and interesting natural habitat in Val d'Aosta due to the presence of numerous species, some of which rare, as the Saxifraga diapensioides, the Eritrichium nanum, the Artemisia borealis and the Edelweiss, simbol of the Alps . Here a popolation of Ibex, probably belonging to the surviving nucleous of Monte Tersiva, toghether with Eagles, Bearded Vultures, Cornish Coughs and White Partridges. Every year on 10th of August both turists and the inhabitants of Cogne celebrate together, with a parade, the figure of San Besso.
