The farmhouse "Profumi" is situated on the high Monferrato hills at about twenty km from Asti and Alba, near the village of Vinchio (birthplace of the writer Davide Laiolo, and where you can visit the baroque church). It is an area of famous wines, asparagus, and of the well-know white truffle of Alba. In The Farmhouse"Profumi" You will find peacefulness and kindness, ideal to spend a few serene days. It is also near the spa towns of Agliano Terme and Acqui Terme. This green and unspoil word gives you the possibility to go for a long walks as well as excursions. It is a jump in the quietness of the countryside very distant from cement and the frenzy of city life. In the good seasons our guests will smell the scent of the many varieties of flowers such as roses, brooms, levanders, oleanders, lime trees and many others.Pizza and grilled meat can be cooked in the oven or on barbecues that are situated in the courtyard where there is a pic-nic area.During the Autumn the typical scent is that of the "grey diamond" the precious truffle of Alba.The characteristic of our farmholiday is to offer our guests the possibility to explore the mysterious and seducing habitat of the white truffle to get to know the history and the treasures of this land, the close relationship between the "trifolau" (the truffle searcher) and his faithful and essential partner: the dog. We offer guided visits into our private areas with the dog "Linda". Living close to nature our guests will certainly eperience new adventures both during the day and the night as well! You will need comfortable clothes, long trousers and wide open eyes! In July there is a national review of contemporary and avant-garde drama and cinema. First of September a wine and gastronomy festival "Le Sagre", and the Palio, a traditional horse race held the second weekend of September. NIZZA - First weekend of June "La Corsa delle botti"CANELLI - In June there is a historical re-enactment of the Canelli siege.
