Stay in a lodge tent or an apartment with all the comforts of home, combined with beautiful weather, a nice swimming pool and the fantastic view... that is a vacation! Hidden amongst the hazelnut trees and vineyards in the hills of Piemonte, you will find the estate, 'Il Castelletto'. This dream spot was discovered by Michael and Fijtje Lothmann during the summer of 2013. The property boasts a beautiful monumental villa and various outbuildings. It was love at first sight! It quickly became clear that this place could be transformed into an amazing home for themselves and all guests. 7 Luxurious lodge tents were put up on the property. The villa has 2 spacious villa apartments. The swimming pool is situated at the top of the hill. From this spot there is a breathtakingly beautiful view of the surrounding land and the city. You can see farmers working in the vineyards. Tractors drive through the fields and you can hear the occasional guard dog. It is fun to have a close-up experience of what life revolves around in Piemonte: Hazelnuts, Wine and Truffles. The small town of Nizza Monferrato is 4 minutes away. It has a number of excellent restaurants and many great little shops. The region of Piemonte is known for its cute villages, delicious wines and the "slow food" cuisine. Piemonte has been on the Unesco world heritage list since June 2014. The cities of Milano and Turin and the Ligurian coast are about an hour's drive away.
