A' Castellana
About
A’ Castellana is a historic restaurant and pizzeria situated in the medieval granaries of Caccamo, Italy, inside the ancient fortress of the same name. Since 1976 it has combined traditional Sicilian cuisine with an ethnographic museum that showcases the everyday life of Sicilian peasant culture through the display of tools, implements and household items from the 18th‑19th centuries. Guests can enjoy classic barbecued meats, regional pizzas, and a variety of menus for lunch, dinner, and special events. The venue offers two separate rooms – the grand “Salone dei Duchi e dei Baroni” for weddings, conferences and gala banquets, and the “Sala Antica” for intimate gatherings. With a capacity of about 150 people, the rooms are equipped with modern comforts, including accessibility features for guests with disabilities, a dedicated nursery, and a large screen for live sports. Guests are treated to free Wi‑Fi and air‑conditioned spaces, while the restaurant’s private dining and banquet services allow for customized menus and catering options. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, hosting a corporate event, or simply exploring Sicilian gastronomy, A’ Castellana provides a unique blend of historic ambience and culinary excellence.
