The Crypt in the Convent of Capuchins Monks of Savoca was built in the '600s. Inside it there is the ancient burial with niches and desicatted corpes. They were all rich people, from the high society of the city: doctors, lawyers, abbots, poets, because it was symbol of prestige for the whole family.
