About

During the restructuring that took place between 2000 and 2001, various archaeological finds of significant historical importance in the Bergamo area came to light. Walls of a villa of imperial Rome, foundations of fortification walls from the early Middle Ages and an ancient church, San Giorgio in Castrum, from the 10th century. The fresco dating back to the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries is also interesting. In collaboration with the pro loco of Martinengo we are open to guided tours.
