From the 1950, in Badia Prataglia, Mechelli family offers hospitality to tourists and pilgrims, since Enrico and Lizia begin the tradition by operating the "Bar Vittoria". The home-like atmosphere of the small local, conquered all, so that soon they decided to open a small boarding house who took care with the aid of the children for 30 years. After his marriage with Luciana, the eldest son Giuseppe took over the activities of his parents and till today care passionately the Viytoria Bar. Believing in the possibilities and the development of the country Giuseppe and Luciana also have built a small residence that welcomes tourists each year, walkers and pilgrims attracted by the beauty of the area. And so for over 50 years the family Mechelli is always ready to accommodate anyone who wants to stay in the "Park of Casentino Forests" with a nice apartment, a nice plate of risotto with porcini mushrooms (Typical local dish), polenta with a delicious venison, a dynamic plate of pappardelle with wild boar, and can not miss that her specialty is an apple pie and nuts named after Mother's Cake Lizia.
