La MarendaSinoira
About
The Marenda Sinoira is a quintessential Piedmontese gastronomic destination nestled in the scenic town of Settimo Vittone. The restaurant’s name literally means "mid‑morning snack" and reflects the establishment’s warm, convivial atmosphere that extends from the early snack up until late‑night. Guests are greeted by a rustic interior where stone and timber meld, a small bar with a stone fireplace, and a second larger dining pavilion that seats 130 guests. In addition to the indoor seating, a covered de‑hœr greets diners under a pergola of live vines, home to roughly 50 guests. The menu showcases classic Piedmontese dishes such as salumi, local cheeses, ripe vegetables, and seasonal mushrooms, complemented by an impressive selection of local wines. The Marenda Sinoira prides itself on sourcing ingredients from local mountain farms to create dishes that tell the story of the surrounding valleys. The establishment also hosts an extensive enoteca featuring around 1,500 bottles of wine, available by the glass and by the bottle. Sommelier Ernesto Volpe curates pairings of traditional cuisine with distinctive regional wines. In addition to the restaurant, a small gift shop offers high‑quality artisanal products, such as potted herbs and artisanal chocolates, arranged in eco‑friendly packaging. The venue welcomes families, couples, and solo travellers, offering a varied menu that can be customized to suit different preferences or dietary needs. Guests may celebrate milestones and the restaurant can accommodate private events or themed menus. For reservations or general inquiries, visitors may simply call +39 0125658470 or email lamarendasinoira@gmail.com. The venue remains open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., except for Wednesdays when it is closed.
