About
Novarbora is a wonderful, welcoming place to rediscover the tranquility of nature, forgotten flavours and lost crafts. A roaring fireplace will welcome all visitors into our home during the cold winter months, and the blossom during spring & summer. Nova Arbora is nestled completly in the woods by the famous hills of Bologna, beautiful city full of history and knowledge. Our space is well maintained, affordable and away from the city rush. The rooms are clean, spacious and all of them have window facing the Botanical Garden which surround the entire lodge. Nova Arbora organize event,guided tour to the garden and is also a great place to bring the kids, there are cute kittens,sheeps and a donkey as well. Nova Arbora is domestic animal friendly. cOSTUMER SERVICE: We will be always there at your service, since the first contact untill your arrive. Breakfast time is discuss with the guest at the arrive. Andrea, my son, speaks fluent english and it is going to relate with you if you can not speaks italian language. GETTING AROUND: Nova Arbora is not just a classic B&B in the suburb, it is also a famous Botanical Garden rich of rare plants, beautiful blossom, land art and forest walks. At one kilometer from us there is a restaurant where we have a promotion which allow guest to get the 10%discount on meals. At only 1,5 kilometer there is a natural rock climbing wall facing the valley. Badolo is well know becouse of the peaceness and for all the fantastic trekking route to do on those hills. HOW TO GET HERE: Nova Arbora is located in Badolo, a small village 10km from the town of Sasso Marconi, within the beautiful hills of Bologna. 18km from the city center, 7km from the motorway exit at Sasso Marconi means we are easily reachable. For those coming from the exit at Sasso Marconi: ( this is the fastest and most convenient way to reach us by car) At the first roundabout, take the second exit signposted for Badolo. After 200 meters, continue onto the main road (number 58) which passes through Battedizzo and Badolo . After the church at Badolo, at the junction for Brento, keep left until you find the sign Nova Arbora Giardino Botanico. From the city of Bologna: (San Stefano gate, Via Murri , Via Toscana , Rastignano and Savena Valleys) Follow the valley road, the sp 65, towards Pianoro, at Pian di Macina take the exit , climb and follow the signs for the provincial 58 direction Sasso Marconi , then, at the junction continue straight for 5km until you see the Nova Arbora sign and the entrance to the property. From Casalecchio di Reno: Follow the signs for Sasso Marconi on the SS64, just after entering the village at the traffic light, turn left on Via Ponte Albano. Cross the railway and the bridge over the river Reno, after which, turn left on sp.37 . Climb up to the big T Junction for Pieve del Pino , then turn right following signs for Badolo and then right again after 200m.From there is 5 km to the sign Nova Arbora
