About

The Isolani family boasts centuries of history, closely connected to that of Bologna and the Montevecchio estate. Ancient papers, found in the family archives, document that in these lands we Islanders already produced wine in 1456 and since then the barrels have never been empty! Aware of being custodians of a historical and agricultural heritage, and willing to carry on this tradition, we have given life to Montevecchio Isolani, which produces DOC and DOCG Colli Bolognesi wines in an organic regime. To fully exploit the beauty of these hills, we have also renovated two farmhouses, to accommodate those who want to spend a few days in peace in our farmhouse.
