About
“Formaggeria Barbieri” was founded in 1968 in Bologna, within the Mercato delle Erbe. It is a historic city icon and a point of reference for the Bolognese for the selection of cheese, its strong point is remaining faithful to its values by combining them with the constant search for local and international dairy excellence. In recent years, thanks to the work of Alberto (our #cheesemaker), the shop is not only a place where you can buy excellent cheese, but also a place where you can receive advice on culinary pairings; this has always led us to look for new combinations and to recreate original recipes by combining the old flavors left in our memories with our cheeses.
