The Residence Opera is located on one of Bologna’s centre major road: Strada Maggiore, with its majestic arcades alongside the street on both sides, where many remarkable and renowned residential buildings find place. This specific building covers a wide portion, extending until Vicolo Bolognetti, where once was one open-air theater: from here the concept and the style of the whole Residence. The Residence was restored in 2015 and offers numerous apartments with high ceilings, some of them with beautiful frescoes; each accommodation takes its name from a famous opera. The Residence winds among terraces and balconies, giving unique views of Bologna’s roofs and the church of “Santa Maria dei Servi”. Along the way, that leads directly under the two towers, there are also important museums like the music museum of Bologna, the “Davia Bargellini Museum” and the famous “Corte Isolani” one of the most charming places for shopping between art and culture.
