Cafe & Bistro Lissi Royal Meran
About
Between 1870 and 1889, Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie, affectionately called Sissi or Lissi, resided several times at Trauttmansdorff Castle in Merano/Meran. Many things still remind us of her visits today – such as the Café Bistro Lissi Royal, our homage to the beautiful Empress of Austria and her place for food and drink on the “Kurpromenade” of Merano/Meran. Located at the entrance to the picturesque Sissi Park, Café Bistro Lissi Royal revives the charm of bygone times. The elegant rooms, designed in the style of a traditional Viennese coffee house, invite you to linger, feast, and enjoy. Start the day with an enjoyable breakfast with coffee, chocolate, or tea of your choice as well as a croissant and yogurt with fresh fruit. For lunch, enjoy traditional Austrian delicacies, Mediterranean specialties, and Tyrolean delights. In the afternoon, we spoil you with tasty chocolate drinks, delicious ice-cream sundaes, and homemade cakes. To crown the day, we recommend a refreshing aperitif!
