Brixen Water Light Festival

Every year in May, Brixen is the venue for the Water Light Festival. Artists from all over the world will bring their creative ideas to South Tyrol. For example, what does a video projection have to do with the evaluation of technical data on glacier melt? Or how are blue sheets related to water pollution in the textile industry? The installations reflect on ecological, economic and social aspects of water and light. Under the motto "Water is life - light is art", an art trail is being created in Brixen. More than 20 fountains and cultural-historical treasures in Brixen, Neustift and Franzensfeste are highlighted with various works of light art. The elements of water and light create a special atmosphere with their fascinating facets. Installations with depth, at times dreamy and atmospheric, romantic and yet again amusing.
