At 2,300m above sea level, surrounded by the landscape of Alpe di Siusi and on the Frederick Augustus Trail, there is the Plattkofel Hut - a place for mountain and nature lovers and families. Open from June to mid-October, the hut can be reached in 2-3 hours by foot or mountain bike. It offers the ideal starting point for hikes, climbing adventures, and mountain bike tours in the Dolomites. Guests have the choice between rooms for 8-10 or 2-6 people or suites with a bathroom for 2-4 people. Washing and shower facilities as well as toilets are available on all floors. Regional dishes made from homegrown products are prepared daily in the kitchen. Homemade South Tyrolean desserts round off the culinary offerings. Children can have fun at the playground, on the slackline, or the meadow in front of the hut. The common room with library is perfect to relax. A garage for mountain bikes, a washing machine, and a dryer are available. Reservations online only.
