WELCOME TO THE "IL PONTE" B&B The B & B is situated in Aidone, a small town in the heart of Sicily, about 70 km away from the Fontanarossa Airport in Catania and 10 km away from Piazza Armerina, the city of the world renowned Mosaics, of the Roman Villa which is part of the UNESCO heritage. Our B & B overlooks Piazza Gen. Cultreri, the bus stop to all tourist coaches and buses, and is near Piazza Filippo Cordova, the historical and business centre of the town. Virtual tour of the B & B The lodgings include a room with double-bed, a triple with three single-beds, a bathroom and a kitchen it is equipped with a ceiling fan and warm air ventilators. The Orange Room A touch of warm colour which recalls the Sicilian sun has been given to the room with a double-bed, it is equipped with a ceiling fan and warm air ventilators. The Green Room This is a room with three single beds which can become a double bed plus a single one. The room is big, bright and comfortable. The colour of the walls recall the surrounding fields and woods of which our territory is rich. The Kitchen /dining room where breakfast is taken opens to a covered terrace. For leisure reading, guests can make use of the books and touristic information booklets which are supplied. HOW TO REACH US Either from Catania or Palermo, along the A19 Motorway, take the exit at Mulinello or Enna and continue for Piazza Armerina along the state road SS 117bis. Take exit at Piazza Armerina Nord and take the state road SS 288 for Aidone. Drive along Via Martiri della Liberta and after having driven past IL PONTE turn left in Via Terranova. Or from Catania, A19 Motorway take exit at Motta Sant'Anastasia and into the state road SS 192, drive along till Aidone is reached. Drive along Via Martiri della Liberta and before reaching IL PONTE turn right into Via Terranova.
