A charming B&B, La Tartaruga is located on the Island of San Pietro, very close to the famous beach, La Caletta, a U shaped beach which embraces the sun every evening as it sets into the sea, just few minutes by car or bus from the port of Carloforte, the only town on the island. Built with local stones at the end of the 1800’s, as a place to stay during the grape harvest. La Tartaruga has been completely renovated preserving the typical and simple architecture of this island's abodes, the so-called "Baracca". This is not the traditional B&B, welcomes you back at any time of the day or night, the large internal car park is free. The fridge and the outdoor kitchen are available, on request. There are also several customer service agreements with nearby restaurants and businesses available to our guests. Our rooms, equipped with every comfort, have their own private bathroom; two large verandas equipped for reading or relaxing also provide the space for a largely organic breakfast which can be provided upon request. The garden is filled with plants: all of which offer their fruit for a genuine home made jam and the preparation of limoncello, citrus and myrtle liqueur. La Tartaruga is the starting point for a full-immersion in total well-being.
