"Baglio" is a typical Sicilian farmhouse with an ancient heritage and Bagilo Pocoroba was established in 1883. Comprising a lovely country estate set amongst rolling hills, we're blessed by limpid blue skies and a warm embracing Sicilian sun almost all year round. Today my family and I live and work in this enchanted place, continuing the noble traditions of our forefathers. At Baglio Pocoroba you'll be immersed in nature, surrounded by 30 hectares of olive trees, orchards, vineyards and vegetable gardens. Organic red and white wines, jams, honey, fruits and figs are all produced on the estate. As are fresh bread and cakes that we bake daily for breakfast. Our ancient Sicilian traditions are important to us. We want you to enjoy the culture, food and hospitality of our forefathers and the beautiful Island of Sicily. A stay a Bagio Pocoroba is rich with diverse activities. Pick your own tomatoes, figs, courgettes, aubergines, pears and apricots. A visit to our museum of traditional farm implements provides a fascinating eduction of ancient agricultural techniques and just over the hill is the ancient ruins of Segesta. Close by are the beautiful seaside towns of Scopello and San Vito Locapo, the ancient hill top town of Erice. Our nicely furnished bedrooms and apartments have comfortable accommodation and all have bathrooms en suite.
