About
Palazzo Sipari is a historic house built in 1858 by the noble Sipari family, who still lives here. It’s located on the main street of Alvito, near the main church of San Simeone and a few steps from the town hall (Ducal Palace). Very important people, such as the philosopher Benedetto Croce and, before the election, Pope Paolo VI, were guests in this aristocratic house. In 1879 Erminio Sipari, the founder and first president of the Abruzzo National Park, was born here.
