Inaugurated in 2014, the Albergo Diffuso Birkin Castello is a luxurious hotel located in the heart of the historic center of Cagliari that occupies an entire floor of an early 18th century building and an entire 17th century building, both completely renovated. Inside these are the rooms furnished in classic style, in perfect harmony with the architecture of the ancient buildings characterized by stone, wood and wrought iron. The Castello district is the main of the four historic districts of the city of Cagliari, in a prominent position, on a limestone hill, about one hundred meters above sea level. The Pisans founded it in the 13th century and since then, in every historical era, the Castello has hosted the palaces of power and noble residences. All this gives this ancient district its charm as a place suspended in time, surrounded by the aura of the centuries of history that have passed through it.
