Borgotufi Albergo Diffuso

Borgo Tufi is a hamlet within the village of Castel del Giudice in the Italian region of Molise. It has been transformed and restored into an "albergo diffuso", a hotel consisting of houses located throughout the village. The hotel/village has been rebuilt in sympathy with its historic landscape. This project was masterminded by a partnership of local experts. The village has been restored in its historic setting, integrating anti-earthquake structures. Contemporary design blends with period details in the reception, meeting room and public spaces. We used recycled local stone and reintegrated period features during the restoration. Though our mission was to restore the building's history, the renovation offers all the comforts of a modern hotel. 33 Units are available among doubles, suites and family rooms, both standard and deluxe, for a total of 100 beds. Every house offers free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge bar, a safe and a cooking area. Some houses have a working fireplace. The hotel boasts a first class SPA center, with a swimming pool, Turkish bath, massage room and gym, where you can rest after a full active day in the nature surrounding Borgo Tufi. The restaurant at Borgo Tufi is the ideal place to taste excellent local Molise dishes. Our young chef learned his trade at the prestigious Niko Romito Formazione cookery school. The menu is based on local produce and regional traditions, with many dishes combing apples, white truffles, cheese and locally farmed meat. These dishes have been reinterpreted with a modern touch, each one telling a culinary story from our Molise region.
