About

Osteria Villagrande is in the hearth of our Estate that produces Etna Doc Wine since 1727. We wanted to go back to the original meaning of "Osteria" as a "Place of Hospitality". In the past the osterie served mostly wine with simple food, local products, in Sicily only wine and eggs. Taverns stood in strategical places where travellers passed by to refresh them but soon they became places for people to meet and gather. And wine was a fundamental part of the concept of Osteria! Our aim remains the same, we love wine and food and we love to pair our wines with local food from our Organic Garden and from Etna. It is also possible to book the Tour of our Cellar built in 1850.
