Villa Ortensia is a villa with Mediterranean garden in Aci Castello, between Taormina, Catania, Siracusa and Etna. It overlooks the crystal clear waters of the Marine Protected Cyclops Islands , (which has the emblem of Environmental Recognition : 3 starfish ) , is at the foot of Etna Regional Park and is fast work-in -progress to become a Eco- sustainable structure in the circuit of Sustainable Tourism . ( We already have : Photovoltaic, Thermal break windows , water saving , waste , energy saving light bulbs , compost , eat local , ..). It is part of the Circuit virtuoso Critical Consumption " Pizzo Free" Addio Pizzo of Catania .... the rest will find out if you come to us! Villa Ortensia is composed bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, air conditioning , tv and wifi, a large living room with sitting area , a fully equipped kitchen and private parking . It overlooks a quiet Mediterranean garden , where, among the scent of flowers , the coolness of the trees and the sound of a little waterfall pond with goldfish : you can taste the delicious and varied breakfast with cakes Erminia , you can read a good book ( just ask! ) , you can relax in the hammock or swing, you can sunbathe on the sun ... or you can do gardening ( Cap , hoes and compost always available ! ) From this year, we also offer a service of FOOD for our guests in the garden, under the shade of a gazebo !
