Casa Provenza is located just behind Piazza dell'Università, a few steps away from Piazza del Duomo, with the famous Elephant Fountain. The major points of interest in the historical city centre can be reached on foot in 15-20 mins, such as: the Castello Ursino, the Villa Bellini, the Greek and Roman theaters, etc. Just across Piazza Università, you may go shopping at the boutiques of Via Etnea, also ideal for a taste of some typical dishes, such as "arancini" and "brioches with granita". We are also very close to the fish market and the "Fera 'o luni", the stalls that sell a bit of everything and open every morning from Monday to Saturday. We are also in the centre of nightlife: taking a short walk, you can choose from dozens of restaurants, pizzerias, ice cream shops, cocktail bars and characteristic stores.
