Guado al Melo

About

Guado al Melo lies in the heart of the appellation Bolgheri, on the Tuscan coast. The winery is run by Annalisa and Michele Scienza, a family of vintners for generations. The vineyards cover about 16 hectares. The terroir is well-suited to origine complex and elegant wines, which we produce with sustainable and artisanal practices. The heart of our cellear, compleately underground, is a large library about wine culture. It has been placed at the centre of an interesting museum about wine history and culture: there are ancient model vineyards, panels, short films, ancient work tools and viticulture/oenology books. All exhibition area is in English.
