The Altamira Hotel is located in the quaint village of Orsogna, between the mountains and the sea, in the beautiful Abruzzo region. It is also a short drive from the ski resort of Mammarosa and Passolanciano and the Adriatic beaches of Francavilla al Mare, Ortona, Pescara, San Vito Chietino and Fossacesia, which, in recent years, have earned the label of “Blue Flags” (Bandiera Blu). Also within easy reach are the mountain resort of Guardiagrele, Roccaraso, Pretoro e Lama dei Peligni billow of caves (grotte del Cavallone).
