A Casa di Matilde is a guesthouse in the countryside,a stone's throw from the sea. Recently refurbished, the building belonging to the Benedictine Courts and dates back to 1600, offers to our guests spacious bright rooms with private bathroom , elegantly furnished and equipped with every comfort. From the local train station in Pegolotte you can reach Venice in a little more than 30 minutes, or alternatively, from the port of Chioggia, which is a 15 minute drive from us, you arrive directly at the Riva degli Schiavoni in Venice by motorboat or Pellestrina and Lido other neighbouring islands . Padua, Vicenza and Verona , or the Brenta Riviera are all easily accessible , as well as the Delta del Po Delta or Ferrara. For cycling enthusiasts the area offers hiking really lovely along the waterways . In summer the beaches of Venice Lido , Chioggia Sottomarina and IsolaVerde await our guests for a day of recreation and relaxation. And if you do not want to move , our huge garden will offer plenty of space for adults and children for each desired task. Our breakfast is mostly organic , with attention to people with intolerances and / or allergies and preferences of children. The garden and the guesthouse are also the location for weddings and private events such as birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and any other occasion. Private car park free inside the property.
