Ca' Cirigiolo is a confortable "agriturismo"situated in The Marches a region of central Italy, high in the Appennines of Pesaro province where The Marche meet Umbria. It stands on a hill about 700 metres above sea level near the village of Apecchio. The surrounding countryside is rather special with green wood, majestic mountains and pure cool air. The large sixteenth century stone farmhouse (available throughout the year) was probably built by Benedectine monks from the nearby Abbey of Scalocchio. For those interested in art "Ca' Cirigiolo" is a good base for visiting centres of Renaissance and for following the "Piero della Francesca Trail". Urbino, Perugia, Sansepolcro, Monterchi, Arezzo, are within easy reach.
