This farmhouse is totally rebuilt in the old style and made out of stone (hence 'casa pietra). One lives in the apartment on the first floor (80 m2) with access from the covered external staircase from where one enters in the entrance hall. There is a spacious living area with a sofa and large dining table with chairs and well-equipped kitchen area (dishwasher, oven, 4 pit hob, fridge, and freezer). There are 2 bedrooms (2 double beds and 1 single bed) sharing one bathroom. The bathroom has a shower. In total this first floor is suitable for 5. On top of the outside staircase is a spacious terrace with a table and chairs overlooking the valley below. On the ground floor is an extra smaller apartment where the bedroom with a double bed can be used. This floor also has a bathroom with a shower. In this bathroom is the washing machine. There is an extra kitchen which may be handy when at the pool or for extra cool drinks. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets. - High above Umbertide, with beautiful views over the town and the typically Umbrian valleys and hills, you will find the agriturismo il Poggio with two villas for rent. Each with a private entrance and private garden, but shares the pool. The two-holiday rentals Casa Rosa and Casa Pietra are well equipped, spacious, and furnished with eye to detail and use nice color schemes. One villa sleeps 6 guests, in 3 bedrooms. The other sleeps 9 in 5 bedrooms. The pool is 5 by 14 meters (depth is 1.40 meters) and is fenced. The nearest town is Umbertide which is almost literally down the hill and a 10-minute drive. There are shops and restaurants and a nice market every Wednesday morning. Other distances: 50 minutes to the center of Perugia or to Assisi, Città di Castello is 30 minutes. Rome is 2.5 hours and Florence is a 2-hour drive. Each house has a washing machine. There is a barbecue for each house and a pizza oven to share. There are two baby cots and two high chairs available. The pool is open in June, July, August, andSeptember. The use of the heating is charged based on consumption: €6/m3. Note that there may be a tourism tax to pay. Since 2013 the local authorities in Umbria can ask for this tax which is not included in the price. ----------------------------------------- Superhog - guest screening and waiver Your booking details will be verified by third-party provider TRUVI before you arrive.
