Villa Giulia Mattei is an historic mansion named as Giulia, the mother of Count Marco Mattei. Built in the eighteenth century retains all the characteristics of that time and the charm of history. It is assumed here was born Adelaide Antici-Mattei mother of Giacomo Leopardi. Here stayed Pope Gregory XVI during a visit to the Loreto's Basilica in 1841, he was hosted at Villa Giulia Mattei by Count Gaetano brother of the Cardinal and Secretary of State Marco Mattei. The noble mansion encloses a chapel dedicated to the Madonna del Buon Cuore.
