"A step back to go forward" this is the philosophy of our farm and our farmhouse. We prepare for our guests traditional dishes of Lombardy. We cook with local ingredients produced by us or by other farms. We devote time and energy to the promotion of the historical heritage of our valley with: - The excursion "Cadorna Line" a day in which rediscover the WW1 trenches, with historical introduction, guided tour and lunch. - The "20th Century Dinner" an innovative historical concept developed by the "Il Carpio". Driven by conviviality and passion for authenticity, these dinners truly transport our guests one hundred years into the past: local cuisine is combined with a location of high historic meaning, wherein traditional dishes are served with references to events that occurred on the very same day - but exactly a century earlier. Nothing is left to chance: the farm holiday structure only contains volumes printed before the 1915 and objects dating before the First World War. Everything is driven by our philosophy of discover and sharing, aiming to make this Dinner an unforgettable experience.
