Located in the beautiful setting of the Cantine di Gandria, the Grotto Descanso is surrounded in a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, just fifteen minutes from the center of Lugano, away from the rowdy life and the warm summer days. The grotto welcomes its guests in the large outdoor terrace from which you can admire a beautiful lake view while relaxing. Under pretty arbor you can taste some good wine served in traditional porcelain bowls in characteristic stone tables The grotto Descanso offers typical traditional dishes of the area characterized by domestic food and seasonal. Special opening event on booking (15 guess and up). Usually opened from April to september durig the Museo delle dogane opening season and ferry service season. The grotto is accessible only by boat or ferry and offers a taxi service Lakeside resort on request.
