The Residenza d'Arte is a charming 14th century village in stone, an historical dwelling unique in the world that rises majestically on a splendid hill with stunning panoramic view, surrounded by cypresses and age-old olive trees. The Residenza is situated in the medieval town of Torrita di Siena, a few kilometers from Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, and Cortona. As soon as you cross the gate of this historic dwelling, you will join in an artistic and poetic experience where nature and contemporary art are in harmony, so the Residenza d'Arte is a unique place to stay. The reception desk is in a large and pleasant hall where ancient beams and stone walls vibrate in a chromatic moving dance together with a collection of paintings, sculptures, and design artworks. The entire village is wrapped in a magic atmosphere, from rooms to the surrounding park. The project to create an unique Gallery Hotel in the world as the Residenza d'Arte starts from an idea of the artist Anna Izzo, sculptress, painter and interior designer known all over the world.
