Hostaria Viola was born in 1909 by the great-grandparents Charles and Viola Santa Besacchi in a small fraction of Castelgoffredo; a peasant family in difficult times began to know and passionate gastronomy and wines to the point of being able to pass on this passion to the following generations. In 1979 the restaurant moved to the nearby, promising and well positioned town of Castiglione , where he soon became a point of reference for the cuisine Mantovana even by those who come from other provinces. Today, the fourth generation, remains the same passion for the culinary tradition of the territory, for the genuineness of the products and for the reception of customer.
