Enoteca Falorni
About
Nestled beneath the historic streets of Greve in Chianti, Enoteca Falorni is Tuscany’s largest wine cellar, boasting an unrivaled collection of more than 1,000 Tuscan wines—including over 100 on the tasting menu—alongside sparkling wines, dessert wines, grappa, and olive oil. The cellars, originally built in 1893 by Ernesto Leproni, have witnessed the rise and fall of noble proprietors, the Union of Chianti producers, and the Gancia family, before being reborn by the Bencista Falorni family in 1999 as a modern wine haven that still honors its storied past. Visitors step into an atmospheric underground space with arched brick ceilings, corridors, and intimate rooms that once stored grapes, now turn into a living museum of wine culture. The bistro area offers traditional Tuscan dishes, perfectly paired with the region’s finest wines, creating a multi-sensory experience that resonates with wine lovers and history enthusiasts alike. From the curated tasting rooms to the artisan displays, Enoteca Falorni invites guests to explore the rich tapestry of Chianti’s heritage, making it an unforgettable stop for anyone passionate about Italy’s viticultural legacy.
