Fattoria di Bacchereto is located between Florence and Pistoia, on the hills of Carmignano,180/250 meters above sea level. It belongs to the same family since 1920. The surface is: 8 hectares at vineyard, 60 hectares at olives-trees and 90 hectares woods. Our rules provide a low yield per plant, only natural operations and fertilization by green manures, no use of selected bacteria, no filtration or refrigeration aging in 350 liter allier oak barrels followed by a minimun of six months of bottle aging. There is a small production of Honey, and, only in Autumn, excellent Dried Figs of Carmignano In the farm there is also a friendly agritourism. Our main production is the Carmignano wine "Terre A Mano",(biodynamic method) and almost every day we organize wine and olive oil tastings and visits to the vineyards, for our guests or for other visitors.Hospitality is available in 5 independent apartments (two to seven bedrooms)each of them has its own private entrance and space outside with pergola, table and chairs. 4 of them have a fireplace.the furniture is original, and the houses, all very spacious, were simply restored, but have maintained the original structure an materials. There is a pool.The small village of Bacchereto(food shop, bar with food corner, Church, newspapers shop) is 1km.far, so it's possible to reach it by car, or on foot:there is a pretty path through the fields. The Carmignano region is very interesting and beautiful.
