Gianna's Bed and Breakfast

Gianna's is a ONE-ROOM B & B on the second floor of a 14th century building situated at the northern end of Florence's historical centre. There is NO LIFT but the 34 stairs are divided into four flights and are not steep. Gianna's B & B is close to the Academy Art gallery, St Mark's Museum, the San Lorenzo market and the Fortezza da Basso exhibition centre. The main railway station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella) is a fifteen-minute walk, the Cathedral a ten-minute walk. Gianna's B & B has only ONE ROOM. The room is on two levels and can accommodate a maximum of THREE adults: there is a single bed on the upper level and two single beds or a double bed on the lower level. The bathroom (shower, hand-basin, bidet and lavatory) is on the upper level: a shower-cap and hair-dryer are provided. There are 2 large windows,hydronic heating and an air-conditioning unit for the summer. Two armchairs, a large book case with books in Italian and English and a table with three chairs (where breakfast is served) are on the lower level as is the little kitchenette which contains a small fridge, a toaster, a sink and an electric kettle. Plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, a tea-pot and a coffee brewer are provided should you wish to prepare yourselves a snack or light meal. Coffee, yoghourt, fruit, biscuits, breakfast cereals, orange juice, water, crackers, and a selection of teas are also provided at no additional charge. A generous freshly-prepared Continental breakfast is served in your room at the time of your choice. Wifi is available in the room free of charge.
