Palazzo Uguccioni is located in Piazza della Signoria - in the heart of the city center. From the palazzo, you step outside into this famous piazza's open-air museum, and walk to all of the city's most famous monuments within minutes. We are around the corner from the Ponte Vecchio, down the street from the Duomo, a short stroll to Piazza Santa Croce, and only steps from the Uffizi. You can't find a better location from which to explore Florence! Palazzo Uguccioni Some of the most important Florentine palaces surround Piazza della Signoria, and Palazzo Uguccioni is in fact one of these splendid palaces. The building, with its noble and harmonious façade, was created for Giovanni Uguccioni by Mariotto di Zanobi Folfi in 1549 to a design by Raphael. From the ground floor, constructed with large ashlars forming three arches, two stories rise above and are divided by twin columns of the Ionic and Corinthian order which are set on plinths. On the first floor, above the entrance, is a bust of Cosimo I (currently being restored). It is in this magnificent building that our five charming apartments can be found and where one may experience an unforgettable stay and enjoy some of the most beautiful views in the world!
