About
Zoomarine is a sprawling marine‑themed amusement and water park located in Torvaianica, just 30 km south of Rome’s EUR district. Opened in 2005 and operated by Dolphin Discovery, the park spans 40,000 m² of Mediterranean gardens and offers 22 attractions ranging from high‑speed thrill rides such as the Log Flume "Blue River" and the haunted house "Cursed Galleon" to family‑friendly splash zones like "Pirate Lagoon". A key feature of the park is its 25,000‑sq‑foot aquarium and the world‑famous Dolphin Discovery Stadium, where trained dolphins, sea lions, penguins and tropical birds perform daily demonstrations. Visitors can also explore the zoo garden, the "Forest of Penguins", the "Arena of Dolphins", the "Pinniped Bay" and the "Forest of Parrots", making it a premier destination for animal lovers. Ticket admission includes access to all rides, attractions, and the swimming and waterpark areas during the summer months, as well as daily dolphin, sea lion, and penguin shows. The standard entrance price is €34 for adults (18+), €28 for reduced‑price visitors 100–130 cm tall, and the park is free for children under 99 cm in height. Children of all ages can participate in the educational programmes, interactive animal encounters and special themed events such as Halloween and seasonal celebrations, many of which are shown in the park’s dynamic events calendar. Food and beverage options are abundant, with eighteen restaurants, cafés and the on‑site "Taverna La Famiglia" offering a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Complimentary parking is available for all visitors, and the park’s accessibility features include wide circulation paths, wheelchair‑accessible rides, and accessible restrooms. From the moment you arrive you’ll find a vibrant blend of thrilling rides, captivating animal shows, and interactive learning experiences that make Zoomarine a must‑visit attraction for families, couples and solo travellers alike.
