Borgo Turrito
About
Borgo Turrito was founded in 2006, the year when Luca took over the helm of the family company, linked since 1890 to the cultivation of vines. A generational transition that has meant a change of vision and an expansion of perspectives, while maintaining the strong attachment to the land that has been handed down for years here, in Borgo Incoronata. Our company is located on the border with Bosco Incoronata Regional Park, a protected natural area of over 1000 hectares about 12 km from Foggia, the capital of Dauno. Our vines grow mainly on clayey soils that are able to retain water more easily and release it gradually during periods of drought, typical of our climate. We mainly cultivate Nero di Troia, autochthonous grape variety widespread above all in the north of Apulia, and Falanghina.
