SUBRETIA Country Resort Subretia project has been created in the wine producing area of Montefalco by Tenuta Rocca di Fabbri winery. Though this project, Simona and Roberta Vitali, passionately involved for years in the production of fine wines and in the enhancement of the territory, want the culture of wine to meet the culture of hospitality, creating a new concept of tourism. The concept that gives birth to Subretia project is not only the enhancement of Montefalco territory, but the attempt to realize the interaction of environment, tourism and wine culture. Subretia is composed of 18 restored and frescoed apartments. The entrance is just a few metres from the winery. From there, you can enjoy a wonderful view on the surrounding hills and on the mountains near Trevi, that frame the wide garden area. Subretia is a journey inside the journey. Through the frescoes of the apartments you will symbolically experience again the journeys of your memory, and time will acquire a magical dimension. The apartment, standard suite ( 25 to 40 mq) , superior suite ( 41 to 60 mq) are fully equipped kitchen, sitting room, bedroom, bathroom, satellite tv, safe, telephone, sheets and bath towels. The swimming pool is placed amid Subretia. It is a shaped as a lotus flower and supplied with a Jacuzzi and a fountain in the centre that enhance the charming view of the rolling hills of Umbria. The terrace around the swimming pool is provided with a solarium. An ideal place to relax and enjoy the sun. In the evening, the solarium is the ideal place to enjoy sunset and the lights of the night. Subretia is placed inside a large park with garden, its paths are framed by trees and bushes of local flora. Water lilies, pergolas, cypresses, brooms accompany the guests to the discovery of many magical places where you can relax. At the centre of Subretia, and near the swimming pool, a coffee bar to enjoy delicious light refreshments, coffee, breakfast and wines. Subretia organizes for the guests visit to the vineyards and cellars of Tenuta Rocca di Fabbri winery, followed by a tasting of Montefalco wines. A nice opportunity to enjoy the tradition of wine making and the tradition of hospitality.
