Hi, I'm Giampiero, I have always had a predisposition and dedication to the culinary art, so much so that, as a child, I spent hours and hours helping my mother to prepare Sunday lunch. Then, growing up I understood that of this passion, I could and should do my job; so, I decided to open my first tavern. I called it "Osteria Panzini", because "Panzino" was the nickname of my grandfather and, therefore, as in the country villages an individual's nickname became a sort of second name for his whole family, I felt the duty to respect and maintain this tradition. The second step was to document myself to find out what the inns of the past really were, and I discovered that they have always been real places of leisure, where, in addition to good food and an excellent cellar, diners entertain with all kinds of activities: from cards to cabaret shows.
