WELCOME!Surrounded by the country side, in the southern Puglia, between the Adriatic and Ionian Sea, a few kilometers from Otranto, you will find the farm “Casale Contenti”, which stretches on two hectares of land among olive and fruit trees. It’s a typical Mediterranean construction, made up of seven rooms complete of every comfort (air conditioning, private bathroom, refrigerator bar, bed linen, hair dryer, television) furnished in antique “masseria style” (typical farm of Puglia). The environment is calm and comfortable, far away from the noisy everday life, but at the same time near sites of great touristic and cultural interest. In fact, the farm is in a strategic position because from it you can reach all the locations of major interest, from the beautiful and historic Otranto, to the “baroque” Lecce, which is 30km far, defined “Florance of the South”…. and moreover, you can easily reach the marine areas Castro and Santa Cesarea only 15 km, …and then in a10 minute car ride ride you can reach the Alimini lakes, a location famous not only for its prehistoric lakes which you can cross in canoe, but also for its long coast of beach, full of seaside resorts and also stretches of free beach. For refined palates, let’s not forget the many festivals that take place during the summer, in the nearby towns, all very close to our structure, where you can taste typical local food products and get to know the local village traditions. The “Casalee Contenti” is the ideal place for the traveler who, in a few days, wants to fully enjoy the history, the sea, the traditions and the delicious food of what I consider the most beautiful part of our Salento, but also a place where you can relax and find harmony, living close to nature. We have seven rooms, furnished in old –fashioned farm style and equipped of every confort: • Air conditioning• Bed linen• Led television• Hair dryer• Refrigerator bar• Linen hanger for washed clothes • Courtesy kitThe daily rate is 40 Euro. • Children up six years old don’t pay if they sleep with parents. • Children between seven and ten years old pay half price if they sleep with their parents. • During the summer season, if you stay overnight, you have a 10%discount for renting beach umbrella and beach beds at the seaside resort “Lido Tropea” (Alimini Otranto). In the rooms there is a matrimonial sofa-bed which can be used in case of need. Daily room cleaning is included in the price of the stay. The rooms have different name: Melograno, Mirto, Lavanda, Corbezzolo, Ginestra, Gaggia, Carrubo. Every morning, from 8am to 10, 30am, you can taste our breakfast with hot crescent-shaped rolls, cakes ring-shaped cakes, fruit cakes and our home –made marmelades, and then fresh fruit, coffee, milk, and tea. Breakfast is served outdoors, under a gazebo in the green countryside. You can delight your palate and at same time relax in a calm and comfortable environment which is ours.-
