B&B Tenuta Santa Rosa

About

Established in 2005, the B&B "Tenuta Santa Rosa" has an ancient history. The central building was built at the end of the XVII century. Originally it was a Church, in which several masses and marrieges took place, especially celebrated for the local community living in the noble Patitari's family garden (the Contrada Santa Rosa). In the 4 hectars surrounding the farm there are: olive trees, from which we produce an excellent extra-virgin olive oil; a beautiful pinewood where you can relax and enjoy the beauty and peace of nature; an assorted orchard and a vegetable garden which provide genuine products consumed by our family and customers. Our B&B is included in the beautiful Salento's countryside and, at the same time, it is very close to Gallipoli, one of the most famous tourist destination of Apulia, especially known for its beautiful beaches, sea and important historical biuldings, such as the castle, churches, olive mills and the characteristic old town. Moreover, taking the s.s.101 it is possible to easily visit all other Salento's cities, both in the country- and seaside. *OUR PHILOSOPHY* Environmental protection and respect of our roots, as well as those of others, constitute our philosophy. Through sharing of spaces and ideas, we aim at promoting a virtous local development, based on synergies improvement between local traditions protection, knowledge transmission and good practises development. Reducing our impact on the environment is our main goal, as we are aware that improving the environmental quality entails an improvement in the quality of life. We don't want provide just a place where you can spend your holidays. We would like instead that our B&B will be your starting point to discover Salento's land and culture, while exchanging reasons for reflection about relationships that link our wellbeing with the environmental and social quality in which we live.
