The Parco Naturale Regionale Porto Selvaggio is a protected natural area located in the province of Lecce in Puglia, Italy. Covering 1,122 hectares of pine forests, wetlands and a seven‑kilometre stretch of Mediterranean coastline, it offers visitors an immersive experience in pristine flora and fauna. Highlights include the fabled Palude del Capitano marsh, the Grotto of the Horse with its clear springs, and the towering pine groves that line the cliffs. Hikers are advised to bring sturdy shoes and best visit during the summer months when the tide is low and migratory birds abound.
