Tenuta Castelle is a sixteenth-century residence nestled in the heart of the Salento countryside, where you can see the sun and the various colors of Mediterranean nature from dawn to dusk. Located about 20 km. from Gallipoli, Otranto and Lecce, represents a typical corner of Salento that deserves to be visited by all those who demand quality and courtesy. Between barrel and star, olive and pine trees, the orchard and the ancient church, you can feel old-fashioned sensations for lovers of true relaxation. History Tenuta Castelle, which, however, once boasted a completely different consistency, has belonged to the same family that now runs the B & B for more than five centuries. The dwelling, an important example of rural construction, is divided into a ground floor, the oldest, dating back to the second half of the sixteenth century, once used for agricultural economy such as stables, farmhouses, etc., and a first floor, dating back to 1833, intended as a manor house.
