Villa Kalepolis
About
The Villa name Kalepolis is derived from the ancient name of Gallipoli, or "Beautiful Town", the name the Greeks gave the town at its foundation in 700 B.C. Situated 6 km from the beach, Villa Kalepolis is an 18th century residence immersed in over 6 acres of gardens. Consisting of two floors, elegance and charm characterize the interior of the Villa. On the ground floor, ancient, low-cross vaulted ceilings overlook an entrance hall, dining room, cozy living room with its wonderful fireplace, reading room, and a spacious kitchen with fireplace and with Vietri ceramic ware and olive-tree wood furniture. Four bedrooms, a second living room, and beautiful terraces providing spectacular views complete the second floor.Outside, standing just a few steps from the Villa is the Suite dell'Angelo, the guesthouse named after an inhabitant of three centuries ago. Inside the guesthouse is a master bedroom accented with a fireplace, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Outside the guesthouse is 1000 square meters of gardens and the ancient mill.
