The hotel is located in one of Genoa's historical palaces, palazzo “Serra Gerace”, which was formerly part of the Rolli family and used as a hotel in the 18th century. The Parodi family's intention was to bring back the history and beauty of the palace, which has been entirely preserved in the breakfast room where the frescoed walls can be admired, and in the rooms on the second floor where the marble floors are still present. The structure is a blend of the ancient and the modern to create a comfortable and relaxing environment. There is a billiard room that has also been converted into a smoking room, more precisely a cygar room, and the decision was made to decorate the rooms and common areas with original period posters relating to Liguria and elsewhere so that guests also have the opportunity to admire an ever-changing exhibition. Recently opened within the structure is the “Xena restaurant synthesis cuisine” with three tasting menus
