Bottega Mida was born in Sicily in 1983. Cettina Prestipino, designer and "craftswoman", creates bags, belts, small leather goods, shoes, jewellery, and many others objects. She use a wide variety of hides and leather, fabrics and eco-leather, embellished with ceramic insert, wood, glass, mosaics, lava stone, metals and whatever exsits in nature and stimulate her immagination. The flagship of Bottega Mida is the artwork of the leather, using ancient techniques such as modeling, micro-percussion, pyrography, cold printing and modern techniques like airbrushing and digital printing.
