The pool is surrounded by a large patio with a splendid view of the Alcantara Valley, with a glimpse of the ocean at the end of the valley. **Villa Aurora lies halfway up a mountain slope above the village of Francavilla di Sicilia. It has a view of the Alcantara Valley and several villages, including Motta Camastra, Francavilla, and Castiglione di Sicilia. The supermarket is around 1.5 km away, and the centre of Francavilla is about 1 km distant. The well-known seaside resorts Giardini Naxos and Taormina are approximately 15 km away. Catania (airport) is 75 km away, and Messina (harbour) is around 65 km distant.
